No need for store-bought salad dressing. This very simple-to-make classic balsamic vinaigrette has a combination of tangy balsamic vinegar, olive oil, shallots and a touch of dijon mustard. As always, you can add or subtract any of the ingredients and make it your own!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of honey

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper

  • 1 large garlic clove (minced)

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together well and keep refrigerated.
